So, I found myself not wanting to work on anything tonight, as I finally managed to turn in the last couple of projects for the year, and sue me, I wanted a night to not freak out about anything.
So what did I do?
Bust out the tablet and draw some Skin Deep fan art.
Keep in mind I've been using the tablet for less than one semester, and although I've decided that I really do enjoy using it, I'm still not the best at freehanding stuff on it. In a way, this was a fabulous way to practice.
and it is awesome. it is the highlight of my Mondays- or whatever it's current update schedule is. Being a huge cryptozoology/fantasy fan myself, I couldn't help it tonight, I drew fan characters for myself and one of my roommates (note- not the same roommate as in the mermaid pictures. I have two.) Werewolves from Ireland and Werejaguars from Mexico, hells yeah.
just FYI, this will probably be moved to scraps soon.
cool! i really like the one on the right! great job!

It's great to see an increase in the number of new people joining the resources community here on deviantART. Since we have so many new people coming on board, I thought it would be a good time to introduce or reintroduce the team.
A former volunteer with the Artist Relations team, `kuschelirmel has always been a wonderful role model within the community.
With a vibrant and eclectic gallery that would make anyone proud, her dedication to providing informative and easy to follow tutorials, journal CSS, and inspirational stock is clearly long overdue for recognition.
